Miss Shelly, aka Michelle Velez, is a chef based in San Diego, CA who does custom catering, events, and makes her own AMAZING BBQ sauce. The logo redesign was part of the rebranding I did for Chef Shelly, a good friend of mine. See the eCommerce website redesign I did for her!

When Shelly came to me, she needed a full branding re-design. Her old logo was outdated and, frankly, poorly done. First thing I needed to figure out was how she wanted her logo to make people feel and who did she want it to appeal to. Her brand is all about catering, events, and homemade bbq, so I figured incorporating some cooking utensils would be fun and informative all at the same time! We brightened it up while including her brand colors to make it more modern and easier to display, print, and share for her events. Have a look at the before and after below.
